It’s difficult to imagine the amount of water in our ocean. Some studies speak of 1,332 million cubic kilometers, but it’s impossible to know for sure. What is certain is that the quality of this water has a direct influence on the quality of life of its inhabitants.

This was Innoceana’s first marine conservation project and it started in the Gulf of Thailand. Today we have a worldwide database from more than 5 countries and hundreds of analyzed samples.

Our impact: Changes in wastewater management in Thailand.

Discovery of places with illegal dumping practices.
Raising awareness on the importance of clean water.
