Innoceana aims to reconnect these communities with the ocean and
incorporate their knowledge for marine conservation.
Studying the water quality of their sacred rivers, reforesting trees in their mountains, and organizing conservation workshops with the youngest members of the community are some of the activities we carry out with
the Boruca community.
