After winning a prize for innovation in construction in the UK, Carlos changed everything in his life to begin this voyage called Innoceana. A professional diver, conservation instructor, and Road Engineer and environmentalist, Carlos thinks that the days are too short and that nitrogen limits dive. A lover of life and the environment he has decided to bet everything. Carlos is the heart of Innoceana.

This Belgian-Sevillian fell in love with the sea on the cold Belgian coasts. She is a marine biologist and diving instructor and she left everything and took refuge in the Himalayas where she trained as a yoga teacher. Today you can find her among the underwater volcanic rocks in Tenerife, fighting to save the marine ecosystem.

Maggie finds her inspiration 30 meters deep in free diving, or restoring corals for hours under the waters of the tropics. A conservation specialist and underwater photographer, this nature-lover needs water to breathe and waves to fall asleep.

An environmental scientist specializing in marine management, Desiree is not satisfied with just helping our oceans. Instead, she wants to use conservation to fuel social inclusion.

Coline Monchanin

We would need a few hundred Colines to fix this world. Coline has visited half the planet and has worked countless hours in underwater conservation, presenting her results in international courts. As an agronomist, bees are her other passion with which she currently studies for her PhD in Australia.

Matthias Desmolles

Matthias is one of these people who, when you find them, changes the course of your life. An engineer and convinced change is possible, he has been participating in environmental conservation projects for years. He is the team chemist and is always thinking of new methods to improve projects.

Melanie Loriot

The wind and the waves move Melanie's heart, so she decided to change her professional career as an engineer to devote herself to the sea and sailing. Today you can see her on the French coast crossing the Atlantic fetch. Melanie also has an interior artist and has been the designer of many of Innoceana's logos.

Laura is a true warrior of the plastics - with her engineering background she created a project to study larvae that eat them and today she continues working on plastic solutions.

Pamela is a clear example that tourism and sustainability can be merged. A Costa Rican native, you can find her working to protect the waters that bathe the Canton of Osa including the cathedral of the sea "La Isla del Caño".
